Gardencore
It may still be winter but before we know it the grass will be green and the buds on the trees will be blooming, welcoming us into the crisp awakening of spring. With the melted snow and muddy sidewalks comes a return to Gardencore, an aesthetic tied closely to one’s relationship to nature encompassing wardrobe both visually and practically. Not to be confused with Cottage Core, Dark Academia, or Chic Grandpa, Gardencore places emphasis on down-to-earth, rustic elements that remain practical for tending your garden whether it's in a field or in the windowsill of your apartment.
An extension of simply getting dressed, Gardencore values community and eco-consciousness. A style that captures a yearning to unplug, get back to roots, and take time to watch something grow. Pulling inspiration from woodland creatures, mushroom tones, earthy scents, and that woman who’s worked at the local greenhouse for 45 years. Inspired by our friends at Sprezza, below we explore a few of Brand Assembly’s favorite shops, products, and works of art to welcome this style into your mind, body, and home.
